We always recommend you start with our FREE Intro to Pickleball 1-hour class. This is a good overview of how to play, serve, and the basic logistics. Once you have created a free account in our Mile Hi Pickleball app, check out the Intro to Pickleball page to view dates and times for upcoming openings. Select a time and reserve your spot.

Once you have the overview, we highly recommend you take our Pickleball Crash Course. This is a series of three 1-hour classes that you can schedule at your convenience to really learn the game and how to play. We keep these classes at a max of 4 people, which helps you really learn in a small group setting. Our incredible instructors are amazing at teaching and are obsessed with helping new players thrive.

Log into your account in the Mile Hi Pickleball app, and you will purchase a Crash Course Punch Card. Once you have this Crash Course Punch Card it will show up in your Mile Hi Pickleball account and when you go to schedule your classes it will have a drop-down on payment and you will select PUNCH CARD as the payment form.

Take a look at our video on how to do this within the app.

We highly recommend you start playing!

It is the most fun part of pickleball and where you create the best community of friends and players. You will start by coming to any of our Beginner Level Open Plays, normally people will stay in the beginner level for a few months to really get the hang of it. Once they feel confident they can then jump on over to the Low Intermediate level and continue their journey there.

Once you’ve played for some time,  you might want to expand on your skills, such as—serving, returns, shot placement, dinking, volleys, footwork, communication, strategy, and much more.
